CEFR A1 · Beginner
Your first German words — learned properly.
A1 is where every German journey begins. In about six weeks you go from no German at all to introducing yourself, handling simple everyday situations and sitting the A1 exam with confidence.
Overview
A1 is the first level of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). At A1 you can understand and use familiar everyday expressions, introduce yourself and others, ask and answer simple personal questions, and interact in a basic way when the other person speaks slowly and clearly. A1 is also the minimum German level asked for in several Germany-related processes, so it is the natural first certificate for most learners.

Why GCA
The teaching methods were very effective, and the instructors were patient and supportive. They provided a strong foundation in grammar and conversation, which really helped me when I moved to Germany for my nursing studies. I was able to pass my language exams and now confidently use German in my daily life and nursing training.
