Our story
Why GCA exists
German Cafe Academy was founded after its founder had spent two years teaching German and, together with a group of committed teachers, identified the barriers that made German hard for learners in Kerala: crowded classes, too little speaking, and gaps between levels.
The answer was a curriculum that gives every student individual attention — small batches, a consistent textbook series from A1 to B2, and speaking practice from the very first class.

A maximum of 10 students per batch, so everyone speaks in every class.
One textbook series
Netzwerk – Deutsch als Fremdsprache from A1 to B2 — no gaps when you move up a level.
Speaking first
Grammar and vocabulary are always taught in service of real communication.
Personal learning plans
Placement based on your current level and goal, with one-on-one options for exam preparation.
Exam-ready
Every level ends with exam-format practice for Goethe, telc and ÖSD.

The teaching methods were very effective, and the instructors were patient and supportive.
